FASHION TREND: Embroidery

When you think of embroidery, your mind may immediately go to the Ukrainian-inspired dresses that have their place in the summer but don’t really translate well into other seasons. There is a different kind of embroidery, though, that can be found on any piece and in any season. Found on anything from jackets and jeans to hats and shoes, there is almost a randomness about this kind of embroidery that adds an unexpected interest to a piece of clothing, as well as a uniqueness and a sense of importance - an embroidered item just stands out.
In this age of awareness about international labor conditions, pollution and the health of the earth, many people are asking questions about fast fashion and where their clothes have been made. Though fast fashion still has a strong hold on the industry as a whole, more and more people are turning to sustainable fashion sources like high-end secondhand shops, vintage sellers and locally handmade clothing. This fact coupled with an obsession over customized goods creates the perfect climate for artisanal disciplines like embroidery to take hold.
If you do a little digging (or if you're handy with a needle and thread), you'll start seeing embroidery on everything! I searched our Roseville store and in just a day I found several lovely embroidered pieces as well as a couple of serious gems.

Embroidery also I like the most to make more grace of my dresses those which I stitch with my tailor. On the light colors I like to make embroidery with the dark color that appears the cloths colors more impressive.
